Unity in Mexico
YWAM Mexico has been through a rapid development where currently most of their 14 operating locations are connected with GENESIS. This allows for a completely new level of collaboration to impact the nation. Ministries share teachings and devotionals, base leaders meet and strategize, discussing future events, able to meet and respond quickly to requests from the YWAM family in Mexico, and locations around the world.
Every month, three to seven different Mexican bases gather together to hear from a guest speaker, resulting in a deeper sense of unity and belonging. When important events happen or news updates come, they can usually get bases to connect within hours if needed.
In order to facilitate this, the various locations around in Mexico have sent key leaders and staff as participants in the GENESIS school or GENESIS seminar that have been offered. This helps strengthen local and global integration.
