Learn in a Global Classroom

by Sindre Vaernes - January 23, 2010

Young leaders from many nations were gathered in Ensenada, Mexico for an intensive 10 days of being immersed in the understanding of GENESIS. January 25th through February 5th they dove into understanding the vision and the concept of GENESIS, the role of a GENESIS Coordinator, understanding cultures and communication, how to do education in the electronic classroom as well as how to do room setups that will facilitate the best delivery of the Word of God through teachers, worship leaders, students, leaders and all those that are connected via GENESIS.
During these 10 days teachers connected in for lectures and workshops, bringing a truly global feel to the classroom. Participants came from the Americas and as far away as East Asia. The relationships and connections that were established helped create the sense of belonging and these relationships are valuable in keeping the bonds within the GENESIS family.

As GENESIS continues to add strength and new opportunities to ministries in remote locations all over the world, the equipping of leaders that will serve as a Coordinator in the multiplication of ministry vision is critical.

2010 will offer several GENESIS seminars in locations around the world. Watch the GENESIS Seminar Schedule to be posted!
