The rapid development in the deployment of new technology is creating unprecedented opportunities. Not only through the fixed networks, but also wireless access opens doors for significant applications. Data, audio and video can now travel faster and further than ever. The age of information and knowledge is driving this development where the ends of the earth are coming closer to anywhere else in the world. It gives hope to those that feel isolated and also opens a door for their voice to be heard among the nations. Change is inevitable and we ought to harness this and lead out with applications.
