Communication in Africa

by Sindre Vaernes - March 26, 2009

For several years communicators, researchers and IT people serving YWAM and the UofN have gathered in various places around the world. The vision has been cast by YWAM’s international chairman, Lynn Green, that with our continued growth and development there is a very real need to work hard on strengthening relationships and communication across the globe.

CRIT (Communication, Research and IT) is an initiative to do just this. Through gatherings in Europe, the US, India, South America and soon in Uganda key people have been invited to a consultation where real issues are discussed and where everyone is invited to be a part of the solution.

GENESIS has been an active participant since the first CRIT and continues to serve, both in bringing content to the CRIT consultation as well as listening to the needs around the world to find ways the ministry can serve with its strengths.

GENESIS will be present at the upcoming CRIT in Uganda, starting April 26 and concluding on May 2. We trust many will be able to join this opportunity to discuss solutions that will strengthen the work in the African continent in particular.
