Blessed 2010!
Reflecting on 2009, we truly see the marks of a faithful God. It has been a full year and we have many reasons to be grateful. At the beginning of the year we saw the marvelous breakthrough and access to infrastructure that has served the global family in ways that we never could before. The bridging and multipoint facility GENESIS could utilize, has opened up doors for teaching, inspiration, leadership talks, college meetings, global events and much more. Hundreds, if not thousands, have been impacted through this. We believe that our mission has been greatly impacted as the Word of God has been released as people convened in the multitude of gatherings that took place.
Throughout the year more leaders were trained in taking GENESIS to their location. The seminar has again proven fruitful and new doors have been opened up for much content to flow. Together with strategic YWAM locations believing highly in the vision and concept of GENESIS, many have been mobilized to get connected.
The UofN Workshop was a great success, connecting almost 2000 people in four locations via GENESIS. Key note speakers could share the Word of God, and together we could commit to moving forward in bringing the Good News to the ends of the earth.
Towards the end of 2009, GENESIS also saw amazing provision to help new locations get connected as several pieces of equipment were released to be a blessing in select places around the world. Let us trust together that as we are faithful to steward what God puts in our hands, He will release more in the year to come!
As we turn our eyes to look at 2010 it becomes obvious that everything is rapidly moving forward towards God’s purposes. Words such as ‘convening’ and ‘converging’ have been used frequently to describe the process that is taking place. This is all for a purpose. We see God raising up people and bodies of people that are determined to walk in their call at this particular time in history. We believe this synergy will bear much fruit and that 2010 will offer opportunities never seen before. We look forward to the year ahead with great anticipation, a time where we will see the knowledge of the Glory of God cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Hope, future and great purpose are ours to take hold of!
