15 years of service
Bridging two decades, centuries and millennia, this year (2009) GENESIS celebrates 15 years of service to YWAM and the University of the Nations. Thousands of young people have been trained through the many connections, allowing anointed teachers to impart the Word of God and multiply their teaching to the nations. Many young leaders have also been raised up through their GENESIS involvement, having gone to remote locations, pioneering and trailblazing to see the gates of these nations opened up. Multitudes of events have taken place that brought us all closer together around the Word of God that was delivered. Boundaries have been crossed while trusting God for breakthroughs in areas that seemed impossible. Faith and inspiration have flourished as young leaders took hold of the Word of God, leading others into their destiny. Prophetic words have been spoken over nations and individuals, calling these into their God-given purpose. Apostolic initiatives have been sparked, healing has taken place through reconciliation, and people have been touched by the Holy Spirit. Worship and intercession have gone out from the nations, lifting up the name of Jesus, while gathering together. Youth have received impartation and vision from those that have walked ahead, and live a different life today.
We are truly thankful to God for all that he has done through the ministry. Yet, with the inspiration of the words that God has spoken, there is an awareness that he has destined GENESIS to bear much more fruit. Habakkuk 2:14 declares that the knowledge of the glory of God is to cover the entire earth as the waters cover the sea. We truly live in significant times, and as the Spirit of God is poured out throughout the nations, our call to teach them his ways, multiplying teaching through the use of technology, stands firm. There is still much to do. Let us join together to see the Fathers dream come true!
